Dream symbols in the classical Islamic books
A book we are preparing now: the best-known dream symbols as al-Nabulsi recorded them in Ta'tir al-Anam and Ibn Shahin in al-Isharat, translated from the Arabic, each with the book and page, and the Sunnah etiquette of dreams. We hope to publish it before Ramadan, in sha' Allah.
What's inside
- Fifty symbols and more: fish, rain, the sea, honey, Hajj, gold…
- For each, the book's own Arabic words with our literal English translation, the book and the page
- A short, hedged reading: what it may point to, never a certainty
- The Sunnah etiquette: what to do after a good dream, and after one you dislike
We never sell dream interpretations, and never will. The book reports what the classical books say, with their sources. Allah knows best.

Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.
