Lice dream meaning in Islam

What the classical Islamic books of dream interpretation say about this symbol, with the book and page.

What al-Nabulsi wrote

Did you see lice in your dream? Al-Nabulsi wrote in Ta'tir al-Anam that lice in a dream are worldly life with wealth, and that whoever sees many lice in their clothes may gain good, grace and blessing, and release from worries. Whoever kills them may be released from every worry. Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.

From the book

  • «هو في المنام دنيا مع مال»“In a dream it is worldly life with wealth”
  • «قملا كثيرا في ثيابه أو جسده فإنه ينال خيرا ونعمة وبركة وخلاصا من جميع الغموم والأحزان»“Many lice in one's clothes or body: one gains good, grace, blessing and release from all distress and sorrow”
  • «قملا وهو يقتلها فهي تدل على خلاصه من كل هم»“Lice that one is killing: this points to release from every worry”

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, ʿAbd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH), p. 284–285. Dar al-Fikr, Beirut (al-Shamela text, book 1217). Translated from the Arabic by Fil Manam.
