Dates dream meaning in Islam

What the classical Islamic books of dream interpretation say about this symbol, with the book and page.

What al-Nabulsi wrote

Did you see dates in your dream? Al-Nabulsi wrote in Ta'tir al-Anam that dates, for whoever sees them, are rain, and for whoever eats them, pure provision that no one shares. Perhaps they mean reading the Quran and benefiting in one's religion, and buried dates are stored-up wealth. Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.

From the book

  • «وهو في المنام لمن رآه مطر ولمن أكله رزق عام خالص يصير إليه ولا يشركه فيه أحد»“In a dream, for whoever sees it, it is rain; and for whoever eats it, pure provision that comes to them, in which no one shares”
  • «وربما كان تأويله أن يقرأ القرآن وينفعه في دينه»“Perhaps its interpretation is that one reads the Quran and it benefits one in one's religion”
  • «والتمر المدفون مال مدخور»“And buried dates are stored-up wealth”

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, ʿAbd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH), p. 53. Dar al-Fikr, Beirut (al-Shamela text, book 1217). Translated from the Arabic by Fil Manam.

Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.
