Eggs dream meaning in Islam

What the classical Islamic books of dream interpretation say about this symbol, with the book and page.

What al-Nabulsi wrote

Did you see eggs in your dream? Al-Nabulsi wrote in Ta'tir al-Anam that whoever sees their hen lay eggs may have a child born to them, and that boiled eggs are pleasant provision. Whoever sees boiled eggs in their hand may see a matter that dragged on and grew hard set right. Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.

From the book

  • «فمن رأى أن دجاجته باضت فإنه يولد له ولد»“Whoever sees that their hen laid eggs, a child will be born to them”
  • «وبيضها السليق رزق هني»“And its boiled eggs are pleasant provision”
  • «بيده بيضا سليقا فإنه يصلح له أمر قد تمادى عليه وتعسر»“Boiled eggs in one's hand: a matter that dragged on and grew hard is set right”

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, ʿAbd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH), p. 29–30. Dar al-Fikr, Beirut (al-Shamela text, book 1217). Translated from the Arabic by Fil Manam.

Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.
