Gold dream meaning in Islam

What the classical Islamic books of dream interpretation say about this symbol, with the book and page.

What al-Nabulsi wrote

Did you see gold in your dream? Al-Nabulsi wrote in Ta'tir al-Anam that gold may be something disliked and a loss of money, but a gold bracelet worn is an inheritance, and seeing gold may point to joys, provision and the end of worries. Interpretation differs with the dreamer's state, and Allah knows best.

From the book

  • «هو في المنام أمر مكروه وغرم مال والسوار منه إذا لبسه ميراث يقع في يده»“In a dream it is something disliked and a loss of money, and a bracelet of it, if one wears it, is an inheritance that falls into one's hands”
  • «أنه أعطى قطعة ذهب كبيرة فإنه ينال سلطانا ورياسة»“That one was given a large piece of gold: one gains authority and leadership”
  • «والذهب تدل رؤيته على الأفراح والأرزاق والأعمال الصالحة وذهاب الهموم»“And seeing gold points to joys, provision, good deeds and the going of worries”

Ta'tir al-Anam fi Ta'bir al-Manam, ʿAbd al-Ghani al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH), p. 127–128. Dar al-Fikr, Beirut (al-Shamela text, book 1217). Translated from the Arabic by Fil Manam.
